Why are NO SPOKE HOLES so special?
Check this video review from Bike Radar:
"The keen-eyed amongst you may have noticed that there is also no spoke holes on the rims. This obviously means that you don't have to use rim tape when you're sealing the tires tubeless -- HOORAY!!!, that's really good.
...Having set these up tubeless today, I can also attest that they were really easy to do. You'd not have to mess around with tubeless tape, you just whack the tired on, put the sealant in, valve in, pump them up and they are good to go. And they haven't gone down since either!
I can attest to the amount of trouble (I've) had with wide tubeless rims over the last couple of years. There's been many pre-race horrible moments where I've been swearing at wheels because we can't get them to seal. So, it was a real relief today when I seated them first time. That has not happened for a long time and it's really nice to see."
